Week 4

Devotion is a matter of focus and is going to be impacted by how God created you to focus best.

Prayer is meant to be a relational, two-way conversation in which we both speak and listen.

Your prayer and devotion in your life is part of your life, not separate from it. So it will naturally reflect how God uniquely created you.

Consider:

HOW do you focus best? WHEN do you focus best?

Welcoming and being welcomed by God

Letting go to the Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit

Questions for this week:

When it comes to prayer and devotion, what’s been delightful? What’s been challenging?

In an area that’s challenging, begin asking for the Holy Spirit’s help and practice receiving it with joy. What changes?

What’s one of the ideas you’ve heard here that you want to take out for a spin this week? What are you discovering?

REQUEST: If you haven’t explored keeping a Thanksgiving Journal, this is the week to try it out! Try to bring one entry to our Live Session. A Thanksgiving Journal was mentioned in Week 1.

It’s where you write out a few sentences of thanks to God and then allow Him to thank YOU in return. We would love to hear the variety of ways we’re experiencing this!
