Widow’s mite Request form
“Then [Jesus] sat down near the offering box, watching all the people dropping in their coins. Many of the rich would put in very large sums, but a destitute widow walked up and dropped in two small copper coins, worth less than a penny.
Jesus called his disciples to gather around and then said to them, “I tell you the truth, this poor widow has given a larger offering than any of the wealthy. For the rich only gave out of their surplus, but she sacrificed out of her poverty and gave to God all that she had to live on, which was everything she had.”
Mark 12:41-44 TPT
We understand that there are women who truly do not have $150 to donate to a Christian non-profit. Jesus valued those who gave what they had, even when they outwardly had very little - so we want to do that too.
All we ask is that this option be reserved for those who cannot meet their basic needs if they give a $150 donation at this time.
If that is the situation you are in, then you can commit to donating 25+ hours of volunteer service to a group in your community that cares for the needs of the hungry, poor, elderly or children beginning within the first two weeks of your group coaching and completed within four months. A Christian work is preferable, but not required.
Your choice of the Widow’s Mite option will have no impact on your acceptance to a Group Coaching Team and your team members will not know that you utilized this option.
