what is 1:1 life coaching?
It’s a series of 75 minute, one-on-one conversations with Allison Bown, filled with powerful questions that help you connect with what God has already deposited in you.
Together with the Holy Spirit, we’ll create strategies to practice what you’re discovering, look at what you’re learning and how you want to move forward next.
Virtually or in person, I’m here to facilitate the conversation and offer feedback. You’re responsible for choosing our focus and following through.
what coaching is… and what it isn’t
Grace Spaces coaching looks at your present and supports you in moving towards the future as a more mature, peaceful, joyful woman, secure in her identity in Christ.
Coaching empowers you to develop:
greater awareness
forward-focused vision
joyful intentionality
your unique identity in Jesus and understand its value
how you want to show up in the world
Coaching is especially helpful in:
times of transition
overcoming disappointment
discovering and utilizing your unique strengths and learning style
increasing your focus and intentionality through joy
bringing dreams to life
converting Biblical teaching into a daily, relational experience with God and others
Coaching is not:
therapy that resolves or heals your past
consulting that advises and offers solutions to problems
mentoring to train you to do what I do, in the way that I do it

What does it cost?
I don’t profit personally from Grace Spaces. My investment of time and resources is my offering to the Lord. Instead, I ask you to:
Donate the fair market value of your sessions ($70-$150 per session) to a Christian 501c3 non-profit that helps people in need and that you have a personal passion for.
Coaching requires a commitment of 6 sessions, meeting every other week.
We also value Widow’s Mite situations. If this level of donation is truly beyond what you can do financially, you can chose to donate 30+ hours instead to a Christian non-profit and have them verify your hours in writing.
You will be asked to provide a copy of your donation receipt so that you become a “fair trade” client, which is required for my ICF/International Coaching Federation certification.
Your donation will be tax deductible for you, so win-win!
You cover the cost of any recommended assessment tools (StrengthFinders, learning styles, etc.) or books not offered as a free resource on this site.

Why this way?
So that you are sowing generously into people God has given you a passion for.
To support those who make their living offering quality Christian life coaching. I have no desire to undercut their valuable services.
It aligns with my personal ministry values.
